Description

Another lucky evening with 30 minutes of only a few clouds crossing until the sky closed again. The final image is a 17-panel mosaic, each 250 frames, L=2030mm, exp 4ms, gain 200, 170fps. All images are in mono8, 10-bit ADC, 1.5x drizzled, IR640nm filter.

Revision H: In Japan, people are eager waiting for the right phase to spot a cross between craters Purbach and Blanchinus, the Lunar X (Purbach or Werner Cross) or「月面X」in Japanese. Romantic people even figure four further letters on the terminator: L, O, V and E, perhaps I'm too old to find them.
